But if you already work with a benefits broker, connecting them to BerniePortal could get you a lower rate, since brokers can offer custom Starter Edition pricing to their clients. HR Upgrades are priced per user, and who counts as a user depends on the upgrade. Depending on the feature, that can include the employees who use it, the managers who approve requests, and your admins. Someone with more than one role only counts once.
