Compensatory Time Off

What is Compensatory Time Off?

Compensatory time off is an alternative way of compensating employees who work overtime. Instead of earning time and a half pay for overtime hours worked, employees are compensated with additional time off. This time off is equal to their overtime pay, above and beyond their PTO policy.
